Arturo (Chicago), a property intelligence company that offers portfolio-wide underwriting, risk, claims and catastrophe-driven event insights, has announced the hiring of Donnie Millar as VP, Data Science and AI, and Thom Keyes as VP, Finance. The appointments coincide with Arturo’s planned expansion into adjacent markets where actionable property data insights can be leveraged to inform business and risk mitigation decisions, and strengthen relationships with customers.

Donnie Millar, a seasoned data scientist and quantitative developer, joins Arturo as Vice President of Data Science and AI after a 13-year career at Goldman Sachs where he played a pivotal role in revolutionizing their research division’s data strategy and computing capabilities, according to an Arturo statement. Millar’s expertise lies in building and advancing innovative technology, particularly in the realms of predictive analytics and machine learning. His experience in both corporate and startup environments, make him a valuable addition to the team, the statement says.
