Aon Affinity, a division of global professional services firm Aon plc (Chigaco), has chosen Instec’s (Naperville, Ill.) Policy system as the platform for a multi-state small fleet transportation program from Aon Affinity. The program is being rolled out nationwide in all states except New York, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Aon Affinity provides programs and specialty solutions for affinity organizations and their members. In November 2019, the company announced a new motor-carrier insurance program that adjusts rates monthly based on driving behavior. The program is offered exclusively through CarrierHQ’s mobile-friendly online portal and covers fleets with 20 or fewer trucks.

Expansion of Long-Standing, Successful Relationship
“Instec and Aon have partnered on several other opportunities in the commercial auto space. Applying a single platform from Instec enables efficiencies across our business,” comments Mark Nunes, SVP, Aon Affinity. “This is simply an expansion of a long-standing and successful relationship.”

The offering uses third-party data, real-time driving analytics, and a proprietary rating algorithm to score each driver. Premiums are adjusted monthly for each truck based on driver scores.

“Together with Instec and CarrierHQ, we’ve created a more accurate and efficient rating, quoting, and issuing environment, and an improved customer experience for small fleet trucking,” adds Nunes.
