Over the course of two decades, Carlos Sivori, CIO, LATAM Southern Cone, Chubb (Warren, N.J.), who is based in Buenos Aires, has navigated the full range of IT and business challenges faced by the company in the region. During that time, he has demonstrated the ability to execute on major initiatives and administer the IT applications and infrastructure required to support both organic and inorganic growth.
In some instances, that support has meant incorporating new lines or books of business; at other times it has been about taking advantage of new regulations. As business evolved with technology during the 2000s, it has also meant oversight of core system transformations in multiple countries. Most recently, Sivori has managed the integration tasks associated with executing on the merger of ACE and Chubb.
Other outstanding initiatives managed by Sivori over his career at Chubb include the following:
1997: Integrated ERP system platform management.
1999: IT merger process following acquisition of surety business, into a single, consolidated operation.
2001: Integrated ERP extended to the new surety business.
2002: Argentina Devaluation: 120-day crisis plan support and systems adjustments.
2003: CRM design and implementation, integrated to ERP.
2005: Integrated ERP system platform converted into the systems strategy Chubb’s Latin America region.
2007: PDF virtual policy and invoice library.
2010: Argentina Tier 2 datacenter design and construction during facilities move.
