Ameritas Names Individual Actuarial VP

Ameritas (Lincoln, Neb.) has hired Jake McCoy as VP, Actuarial, Individual.

McCoy will lead financial strategy and support growth and profitability for Ameritas’ disability income business, according to an Ameritas statement.

He joins Ameritas after holding leadership positions at Principal Financial Group, Lincoln Financial and Equitable. McCoy holds a degree in actuarial science from the University of Northern Iowa and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Ameritas provides insurance and financial products and services for individuals, families and businesses. Its offerings include life insurance, annuities, individual disability income insurance, group dental, vision and hearing care insurance, retirement plans, investments, asset management and public finance.
