American Family Insurance (Madison, Wisc.) has selected Eagle Investment Systems LLC (Boston) to provide data management and performance solution to support what the vendor calls a front- and middle-office assets management transformation initiative. The solution will provide a centralized platform that integrates, stores and enriches investment data from various systems and external sources, resulting in the efficiencies throughout the carrier’s operations, and supporting enhanced decision-making in the front office, according to the vendor.
The insurer sought a comprehensive technology solution that combined data centricity with an open and scalable architecture, according to the vendor. The Eagle Data Management accommodates a complex book of assets and operates seamlessly with various other third-party platforms, the vendor says. The Eagle Performance solution, provides aggregated performance calculations and views to help inform investment decisions and aid investment reporting. The latter solution is deployed over Eagle ACCESSSM, Eagle’s secure private cloud.
