ALTIMA Expands Use of Prima Insure to Digitize P&C Business

The Niort, France-based company has extended use of Prima Solutions’ platform from distribution to underwriting, policy administration and claims to digitize all of its business processes and “dramatically improve” the quality of its customer service.

ALTIMA, a Niort, France-based insurance carrier and brokerage, has selected Prima Solutions’ (Paris) Prima Insure platform for underwriting, policy administration and claims management across its entire P&C business. The contract builds on an existing relationship.

ALTIMA used Prima Insure successfully for many years to distribute its P&C products, according to Philippe Ramangasoavina, the company’s CEO. “After a broad and deep examination of the insurance software market, we decided to extend our use of the Prima Insure platform to digitize all our business processes,” he relates. “We are impressed not only by the platform’s policy management capabilities, but also by its new claims management module, which will allow us to dramatically improve the quality of the service we provide our customers.”

The Prima Insure platform can be fully configured and customized to suit the needs of all users, including customers, distributors, underwriters, policies, and claims handlers, according to a vendor statement. As a 100 percent web-based and modular solution available in SaaS mode, Prima Insure manages all of the key insurance business processes within a P&C contract, from quoting to policy issuance and from financial collection and renewal to claims management and payment, a Prima Solutions statement says. Prima Solutions reports that the platform is currently used by its clients either as an end-to-end system for distribution, contract and claim management to replace legacy systems or as a set of independent modules to complement existing software applications.
