Alberta Motor Association (AMA; Edmonton), an affiliate of the Canadian Automobile Association serving Alberta and the Northwest Territories, has selected Guidewire Software’s (Foster City, Calif.) DataHub and InfoCenter products to support its data and analytics strategies. The company also selected Guidewire Quote and Buy Portal for Policyholders and Account Management Portal for Policyholders to enhance the digital experience for its policyholders.
The vendor reports that AMA selected Guidewire Data and Digital products to transform its commercial and personal lines of business, beginning with personal auto and property, complementing its earlier selection of Guidewire InsuranceSuite. The company’s commercial lines deployment will follow in 2017.
“We selected Guidewire because we wanted a tightly integrated and configurable suite of products to improve operational effectiveness, efficiency, and customer service through a client-centric view of policyholder information,” comments Collin Moody, VP, CIO, AMA. “We are impressed with the progress and direction of Guidewire’s Data and Digital products.”
Guidewire says that its Data and Digital products will enable AMA to:
- Improve the ease of doing business for staff by providing them with robust operational reporting capabilities to access reports and conduct queries independently;
- Better map and convert data through the full InsuranceSuite product line;
- Empower policyholders with self-service policy servicing and inquiry capabilities; and
- Save significant costs by not having to develop and maintain an internally-built portal.
“We are pleased that AMA has extended its adoption of Guidewire InsurancePlatform,” comments Ken Shapiro, group VP, Americas Sales, Guidewire Software. “We applaud their goal of adapting and delivering on their business objectives, and offering innovative customer experiences to further their reputation.”
