Akur8 (Paris) has launched the Akur8 Deploy Rating Accelerator on Guidewire (San Mateo, Calif.) Marketplace.
The accelerator is designed for Guidewire PolicyCenter customers and connects PolicyCenter with Akur8 Deploy, the company’s external rating engine, according to an Akur8 statement. Akur8 says the extension can reduce integration timelines from months to weeks.

The extension provides a metadata-driven mapping and transformation layer between PolicyCenter and Deploy’s rating API. The connection enables real-time rating within native PolicyCenter quote workflows while reducing the custom integration work typically required to connect PolicyCenter with an external rating engine.
Akur8 says the accelerator is intended to give actuarial and pricing teams greater control over the rating lifecycle. Once live, actuarial teams can update rating logic, push new rates and launch revised products directly in Akur8 Deploy without requiring IT tickets or PolicyCenter redeployment.

Akur8 says the accelerator supports prebuilt mappings between PolicyCenter and Deploy, real-time quote-time rating calls, itemized rating factors and premium breakdowns within PolicyCenter, and offline batch re-rating use cases. The company says the extension also includes standardized transformation logic, validation scripts and Guidewire-aligned delivery guidance to reduce integration risk.

The Akur8 Deploy Rating Accelerator is available to new and existing Akur8 customers and is supported by the company’s delivery team.
