Ag Workers Turns to Marias Technology for Diamond PAS Support

Marias, which has an agreement to provide value-added services for Insuresoft’s Diamond System, will provide hosting, testing and other services to Ag Workers.

Fort Worth, Texas-based multiline P&C company Agricultural Workers Mutual Insurance Company (Ag Workers) has signed an agreement with Marias Technology – a Covington, Ohio-based provider of insurance IT services to small to mid-sized insurance companies – to host and manage the carrier’s policy administration system and provide system testing and management services. Marias Technology has an agreement with Insuresoft (University Park, Ill.) to provide value-added services relating to that vendor’s Diamond System policy administration application, which Ag Workers has used since 2008.

By the agreement, Marias Technology will provide Ag Workers with hosting of the carrier’s test and development environments of the Diamond System. Maria resources will also be used to supplement Ag Workers’ staff for system management as needed. The insurer will also use Marias resources and testing capabilities to test new releases of the Diamond system and provide general direction and oversight with regard to the Diamond System implementation.

“I have known Marias since its inception and its parent company for a generation,” said Marcus Hill, President of Ag Workers. “I know of no finer group of insurance professionals. They know and live our industry.”
