Ag Armour went looking for a portal and bought a core system suite. The Washington, Ill.-based provider of private agricultural insurance products contacted Oceanwide to research the Montreal-based vendor’s portal capabilities and ended up selecting the BRIDGE suite for portal, policy administration and billing, according to John Taylor, president and COO, Ag Armour.
“We were so impressed by the proof-of-concept they designed that we decided to partner with Oceanwide for their full billing and policy administration suite,” Taylor relates. “While we were attracted by Oceanwide’s history as a SaaS provider, we were equally impressed by how configurable its solutions are.
Ag Armour describes itself as a risk management company that creates and distributes insurance products suited for today’s growers and commercial businesses that rely on crop yields. Given the seasonal demands of Ag Armour’s business, the carrier needed a system it could launch rapidly and which would provide greater speed to create and modify products, according to Taylor.
“When they were ready with a production-ready, agent-facing quoting portal in only 10 weeks, we knew we had found what we were looking for,” Taylor comments.
