ACORD Solutions Group (New York and London) has appointed four new members to its Board of Directors, with Spero Zacharias, SVP, Global Information Technology Major Initiatives, Chubb, serving as Chair.

ACORD Solutions Group says the new board members bring experience across insurance, technology, data standards and digital transformation. The organization provides digital solutions and services designed to support standardized data exchange and connectivity across the global insurance industry.

Zacharias previously served as Board Chair for ACORD, the insurance standards-setting body, from 2017 to 2019. At Chubb, he directs a portfolio of cyber security programs supporting operations across 54 countries and commercial and consumer lines of business.

Kasey Connors, Executive Director, Big “I” Agents Council for Technology, leads industry collaboration focused on technology adoption, data quality and responsible AI across the independent agency channel.
Nidhi Howell, Chief Business Technology Officer, Lockton Re, brings more than 20 years of experience supporting technology and transformation programs for global organizations. Her role includes technology strategy, transformation initiatives, operational excellence and risk management.

Christina Lucas, Global Market Leader, Insurance, Google Cloud, leads insurance strategy across the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America. Her prior roles include President, Envista Forensics; Global Head of Industry Advisory, Guidewire; and senior executive roles at AIG, including Global Head of Claims Business Performance.
Zacharias joins the board as Chair and brings more than three decades of insurance technology, cyber security and financial services experience.
Returning board members include Nicole Kellenberger, Global Digital Client Engagement Lead, Swiss Re; Chris Newman, President and CEO, ACORD Solutions Group; and Sabine VanderLinden, CEO, Alchemy Crew.
