ACORD Solutions Group (New York) has launched its ADEPT North America Regional Hub, expanding its global network of digital data exchange platforms to support reinsurance and large commercial transactions. As part of the launch, the company is offering one million free digital transactions to each new North American carrier and broker.

ADEPT—the ACORD Data Exchange Platform and Translator—enables standardized digital messaging for placing, accounting, and claims activity across the (re)insurance value chain. Built on ACORD’s Global Reinsurance & Large Commercial (GRLC) Data Standards, the platform supports interoperability across stakeholders regardless of digital maturity.

“By standardizing how organizations exchange data, ADEPT breaks down traditional silos and creates a collaborative environment where carriers, brokers, and reinsurers can work together more efficiently,” says Chris Newman, president international, ACORD Solutions Group. “This isn’t just about digitizing processes; it’s about connecting markets and enabling the kind of seamless collaboration that drives innovation across the entire industry.”

The new hub allows users to transition from manual, disconnected data workflows—such as rekeying information from spreadsheets—to integrated digital messaging. The result is improved data quality, reduced processing time, and cost savings across organizations.

“Improving the efficiency of data exchange and reducing costs is a critical feature of the successful management of reinsurance companies,” says Frank Nutter, president, Reinsurance Association of America. “ACORD Standards together with ASG’s innovations mark a significant advance in achieving those goals.”

Reinforcing Digitization Efforts

The North American launch follows ADEPT hub deployments in Italy, Spain, and Bermuda. ASG’s global initiative is closely aligned with the Ruschlikon initiative, which brings together major reinsurers and brokers in support of industrywide digital transformation.

“This initiative from ASG is a significant boost to the insurance industry and reinforces the ongoing digitization efforts led by ACORD and Ruschlikon North America,” comments Sergio Ibáñez, eAdmin lead Americas, Swiss Re, and ACORD GRLC/RNAIG chair. “At Swiss Re, we remain committed to supporting both the development and strengthening of regional hubs, as well as the broader adoption of ACORD Standards across North America.”

Future ADEPT hubs are planned in Dubai, Singapore, and the Nordics to extend cross-border data exchange capabilities.
