ACORD (Pearl River, N.Y.) has named Yolanda Austin as VP, Standards Engagement, and Clarissa Montecillo as Managing Director, U.K., in a move to advance digitalization and industry collaboration through data standards.
Yolanda Austin, VP, Standards Engagement
As VP, Standards Engagement, Austin leads ACORD’s member-facing efforts across standards, resources, and services. She is responsible for aligning ACORD programs with evolving business needs across the global insurance ecosystem.
Austin brings more than 30 years of industry experience, including nearly two decades at Lincoln Financial Group and seven years at ACORD as Life & Annuity Program Manager. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, Life & Annuity, where she supported the adoption and advancement of ACORD Standards across the L&A market.
Clarissa Montecillo, Managing Director, U.K.
As Managing Director, U.K., Montecillo will oversee ACORD operations in the region, with a focus on standards development, adoption, and governance. She is tasked with delivering value to stakeholders across the London Market and broader U.K. insurance community.
Montecillo has more than 20 years of experience in the London Market, including roles at Lloyd’s, AXA, and DXC Technology. At ACORD, she previously served as Head of GRLC (Global Reinsurance & Large Commercial), where she played a central role in advancing modernization and interoperability across carriers and brokers.
