ACE Group Partners with Transavia Airlines on Travel Insurance

The agreement is part of ACE’s ongoing strategy to expand its travel insurance partnerships in Europe, which already include a number of major airlines, online travel agencies and financial institutions.

ACE Group (Zurich) has signed a partnership agreement with Amsterdam-based Transavia to provide the low-cost airline’s customers with travel and flight cancellation insurance coverage. Transavia, a member of the AIR FRANCE-KLM Group, provides scheduled and charter flights to over 100 destinations in Europe and North Africa. The agreement is part of ACE’s ongoing strategy to expand its travel insurance partnerships in Europe.

Travelers who book flights via the Transavia website will be able to add travel and cancellation insurance coverage provided by ACE, according to a statement from the insurer. The coverage became available as of February 23 in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Italy.

ACE already serves as the travel insurance provider for a number of major airlines, online travel agencies and financial institutions.
