Accenture (Dublin) has released the Accenture Insurance Agent Effective Solution, a cloud-based application built on the Salesforce1 Platform, designed to help insurance field sales organizations to prospect and recruit agencies, agents and brokers.
The vendor reports that the new solution provides sales leaders with visibility into the end-to-end agency performance cycle, from the establishment of agency and territory sales goals to tracking production results and developing individualized action plans to improve agent performance. The Accenture Insurance Agent Effective Solution provides reporting and dashboards to help sales leaders proactively analyze market opportunities and identify strategies to expand customer relationships, according to Accenture.
“Insurance carriers that distribute through agents and brokers face a broad range of challenges, including an aging workforce, agency consolidation, and rapidly changing customer preferences and expectations,” comments Erik Sandquist, managing director, Accenture Distribution and Marketing Services in North America. “The Accenture Insurance Agent Effectiveness Solution helps address those challenges by providing information and insight to support timely decisions and immediate actions, from appointing the right agencies and producers to identifying steps individual agents can take to increase sales and strengthen customer relationships.”
The Accenture Insurance Agent Effectiveness Solution was developed through what Accenture describes as a close working relationship between Salesforce and Accenture, which combined Accenture’s deep industry knowledge with Salesforce, the world’s number one CRM Platform, according to Neeracha Taychakhoonavudh, senior VP, partner programs, Salesforce. “We believe this new solution for insurance carriers will support improvements in many areas, including setting aggressive but realistic sales goals, developing agents’ skills and identifying new opportunities for agents to pursue,” she says.
Flexible, Modular Application
A vendor statement calls the Accenture Insurance Agent Effectiveness Solution a flexible, modular application that supports the agency performance cycle including sales planning, recruiting, relationship management, sales execution and performance management. The platform is designed for insurance carriers that distribute through exclusive and/or independent insurance agencies and brokers, according to Accenture. It can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively through the use of Accenture’s proven tools and supporting methodology, the vendor claims.
In recognition of what a vendor statement calls Accenture’s proven track record and unique ability to offer differentiated solutions – as well as its Salesforce implementation expertise and demonstrated sales and delivery success – the Accenture Insurance Agent Effectiveness Solution has been certified as a Fullforce Solution for Salesforce Financial Services, Accenture reports.
