Accenture Duck Creek (New York) has completed a new software delivery initiative with three members of its Delivery Partner Programming to expand the scope of quality assurance testing. The pre-release initiative, introduced in Oct. 2014, enabled delivery partners Discoverture Solutions, a Mindtree company, Syntel and TCube Solutions to create project accelerators that will help fast-track deployment of Accenture Duck Creek software to reduce implementation times, according to an Accenture statement.

“Our alliances with these three companies continues to extend value to our services and our clients,” comments Bill Bond, Global Technology and Engineering Lead, Accenture Duck Creek.  “We appreciate their commitment to learning about and working with our software over the past few months and believe that our clients will continue to benefit from the enhancements provided by our valued delivery partners.”

Accenture reports that the pre-release initiative allowed the companies to work with the upgraded technology within all three components of the Accenture Duck Creek Suite—policy, billing and claims. The initiative included training, readiness, installation, and testing phases. More than 50 participating individuals participated conducted hundreds of tests, according to the vendor. Accenture asserts that the program augments the skills and knowledge of the delivery partners already implementing Duck Creek software, and provides superior service when implementing all features and functionalities within the suite.

“Accenture Duck Creek continues to enhance its Delivery Partner Program with new initiatives that provide real value and always with the client’s satisfaction top of mind,” comments Anil Jain, Insurance Business Unit Head, Syntel. “The pre-release initiative enables Syntel to be prepared to assist clients with upgrades as soon as the new release is announced.”

Steve Addair, president, Discoverture Solutions, noted that “one of the key aspects of this initiative has been the deepening of our relationship with the Duck Creek engineering team. Their drive to deliver the highest quality solution in our industry is infectious.”

Sam McGuckin, CEO, TCube Solutions concurs that the early access to the full suite prior to general availability “gave us the opportunity to ready our technology and project accelerators, which enhances the ROI of our clients’ software system investment. We now have the hands-on experience needed to implement Duck Creek’s latest software suite effectively and efficiently.”

The test and learn sessions also provided the opportunity to conduct additional quality assessments that validated the latest software and documentation prior to the public launch, according to Accenture.

Accenture reports that its current clients can leverage the experience and services provided through the Duck Creek Global Alliance Partner Program, which includes providers that offer complementary software and data services, systems infrastructure software and hardware, and configuration and integration accelerators to extend the reach and enhance the capabilities of the Accenture Duck Creek Suite.

  1. Unfortunately I didn’t find a training center for a professional to start career in P&C Insurance testing despite being AINS21 & AIII certified.
