Acadia Insurance Adopts UVeye’s Computer Vision Technology

The northeastern-focused regional carrier will use the AI-driven technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy its appraisal process and streamline claims for vehicles involved in accidents.

Acadia Insurance (Westbrook, Maine), member company of W. R. Berkley (Greenwich, Conn.) offering commercial and specialty property casualty insurance coverages through independent insurance agents in the northeast U.S., has adopted UVeye’s (Teaneck) AI-powered computer vision inspection systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy its appraisal process and streamline claims for vehicles involved in accidents.

UVeye’s describes its drive-thru systems as enabling appraisers to conduct comprehensive, instantaneous assessments of vehicle damage with an unprecedented level of precision and granularity, overhauling the traditional, manual inspection process and streamlining claims management. The vendor says its AI-driven systems elevate the overall customer experience by reducing wait times and ensuring total transparency throughout the appraisal process.
