Louise Laperrière, a certified Forms Management Specialist (FMS), is a long-time and active member of the Business Forms Management Association (BFMA). She was a member of the Canadian General Standards Board committee on the standardization of forms management that published the National Standard of Canada on Forms Management in 2009. It is with the help of her husband Wes Darou, a risk specialist, that she adapted a risk assessment framework to the realm of forms, first while managing a forms program, and later as lead author of the BFMA’s Forms Management Book of Knowledge.
