The Co-operators Group (Guelph, Ontario), a Canadian cooperative that offers home, auto, life, group, travel, commercial and farm insurance, as well as investment products, has announced that it has the successfully implemented Equisoft’s (Montreal) WealthElements suite and Client Portal module. The Co-operators reports that these new needs analysis tools allow its network of financial advisors to provide an innovative and client-centric experience when discussing a client’s life and wealth needs. The deployment also represents the first time the Client Portal will be used by a financial institution to increase collaboration between advisors and clients.
Equisoft describes WealthElements as a web-based planning solution designed to streamline and optimize advisor workflows at every step of the life and wealth discussion. The application uses a set of advanced sales, compliance and engagement toolsets that integrate seamlessly with a firm’s existing platforms to develop a personalized plan. The vendor describes Client Portal module as a mobile-friendly, investor-facing tool that utilizes robo-technology and allows clients to enter information—such as net worth, cashflow and financial objectives—and engage advisors when they’re ready. Together, WealthElements and the Client Portal support the delivery of a secure online financial needs analysis experience to investors, according to the vendor.
“Our vision is to become our clients’ most valued partner in their financial well-being,” comments Tony Gottlieb, Program Director, Wealth Management Strategy, The Co-operators. “Being the industry leader in client engagement is a priority for us, and our clients tell us they want choice in how they interact with The Co-operators. Equisoft’s WealthElements suite and Client Portal allow us to deliver on this request—financial advisors can offer holistic life and wealth solutions that are scaled to the client’s needs, and the client can choose to interact with us in-person, by phone or online. We’re excited to be the first organization to offer the Client Portal in Canada.”
“We’re extremely proud of this achievement for a marquee client,” comments Jonathan Georges, VP, Wealth Management Solutions, Equisoft. “Our solution is currently used by thousands of advisors worldwide, but it’s the first official release of our Client Portal module. This is a major milestone for us as we continue to expand our product offering with the objective of supporting our clients in their efforts to remain competitive in an increasingly digital world.”
