Sapiens International Corporation’s (Holon, Israel) global expansion continues with a newly announced opening of a support center in Istanbul to support its growing business in Turkey, including existing customer Anadolu Insurance (Istanbul). The announcement follows the vendor’s mid-December announcement that it had established a new head office in Copenhagen to serve its growing Scandinavian business.
Other recent global expansion moves by Sapiens include the enlargement of its U.K. workforce in Cardiff, Wales in Sept. 2015; and the July 2015 acquisition of Warsaw-based software vendor Sp. Z o.o.; and the acquisition of insurance services and solution provider IBEXI in Mumbai earlier in 2015.
“In meeting with customers and potential clients across Turkey and the region, we are seeing increased demand for core insurance solutions that will enable insurers to succeed in this competitive market,” said Henry Ainouze, VP sales and operations, Sapiens EMEA. “Sapiens’ deep knowledge of the Turkish market, combined with our best-in-class life and pension and general insurance software suites, enable insurers to provide advanced digital services to their customers and employees.”
Getting Closer to Customers
This latest news follows Sapiens’ multi-million dollar agreement with long-term client Anadolu, announced in mid-2016. The new center in Istanbul supports Sapiens’ goal of establishing a local office to support existing customers in areas with growth potential.
“Sapiens remains dedicated to pursuing opportunities which enable us to get closer to our customers around the globe, allowing us to provide enhanced service and support,” comments Roni Al-Dor, president and CEO of Sapiens. “We look forward to expanding our relationships with existing customers and establishing relationships with new ones.”
