Mennonite Mutual Insurance Company (Mennonite Mutual) Orrville, Ohio) has selected the Finys Suite (Finys; Troy, Mich.) to replace its aging core administration systems. Mennonite Mutual and Finys teams will work together to launch all of Mennonite Mutual’s lines of business in both Ohio and Indiana, on Finys Suite solutions, the vendor says.

Chris Blough, CEO of Mennonite Mutual.

Founded in 1895, Mennonite Mutual provides faith-based and agribusiness policies throughout Ohio and Indiana. The company prides itself on adoption and utilization of leading-edge technologies and was one of the first companies in the insurance industry to use FAA-licensed, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) pilots to deploy drones for pre-inspection of churches. In order to achieve and maintain the high levels of customer experience and satisfaction the company aspires to, Mennonite Mutual embarked on a search for a suitable replacement for its core insurance system.

“We have been operating with a series of legacy systems and not getting the efficiency, speed or responsiveness that we feel reflects the core values of our company,” comments Chris Blough, CEO of Mennonite Mutual. “We looked at a number of replacement options and found an ideal partner in Finys. Their depth of insurance knowledge, ease of use, past track record, and forward-thinking thoroughly impressed us.”

New Levels of Speed and Efficiency

Scott Hinz, Director of Sales, Finys.

“Mennonite Mutual wanted a solution that will bring new levels of speed and efficiency to basic administration and business processing, and that also has callouts to third-party data providers to enable application pre-fill capabilities, flexible APIs for easy integration with additional partners, and a SaaS delivery model for maximum uptime and scalability,” comments Scott Hinz, director of sales, Finys. “The Finys Suite is a proven, modern core administration solution with a solid track record of delivering results for P&C insurers. We are looking forward to working with the Mennonite Mutual team on this implementation.”

The Finys Suite includes components for core administration (policy, billing and claims), as well as regulatory reporting and agent/consumer portals which support mobile access on-demand and is available as a pre-integrated suite or as standalone components.
