Foresters Financial (Toronto), a provider of financial services focused on the middle-market, has selected iPipeline’s (Exton, Pa.)  iGO e-App to automate the selling experience for Canadian independent advisors and their customers. Foresters has an existing relationship with iPipeline for use of the e-App in the United States.

Bruce Hodges, COO, Foresters Financial.

The vendor describes the iGO e-App as the most widely deployed wizard-based e-App in North America, used daily by over 1,350 distributors and financial institutions, and hundreds of thousands of agents and advisors in the U.S. Through Forester’s adoption of the e-App for the Canadian market, advisors in the country will be able to simplify and streamline sales by accessing the e-App via Foresters’ and Canadian MGA’s websites, according to iPipeline.

“The reduction in both cycle times and not-in-good-order submissions has accelerated policy issuance and enhanced the Foresters customer experience in the U.S.,” comments Bruce Hodges, Chief Operating Officer, Foresters.  “Our end goal is to make it easier for Canadian MGAs and their advisors to do business with us.  iGO e-App will ensure that 100 percent in-good-order applications are submitted for processing. Advisors will be paid their commissions sooner, and families seeking life insurance protection and other financial products will receive what they need faster.

Long-Time Advocate

Foresters has long been an advocate of iPipeline’s iGO e-App, having put the solution to work in the U.S. marketplace with independent agents, according to Tim Wallace, CEO, iPipline. “The decision to bring our e-App to Canadian MGAs and advisors underscores their commitment as an industry leader to bring innovation and progressive change to the Canadian financial services industry,” he comments.“iPipeline’s recent acquisition of Bluesun in [Burlington] Ontario signals our interest in building a Canadian network of insurers and MGAs, all of whom would use our SSG Digital Platform for a common user experience and gain speed-to-market advantages. We highly value our relationship with Foresters and look forward to becoming their platform of choice in Canada.”

Foresters will explore the potential to expand the use of the iGO app across the enterprise, according to Hodges.
