Builders Mutual Modernizes Core with Insurity Systems

The insurer has licensed Policy Decisions, Billing Decisions, Insurance Enterprise View (IEV), SIMS Claims, and Valen Analytics’ InsureRight Platform.

Builders Mutual Insurance Company, a construction industry insurance provider, has selected Insurity’s (Hartford) platform to update its core systems. The Raleigh, North Carolina-based carrier has licensed the vendor’s Policy Decisions, Billing Decisions, Insurance Enterprise View (IEV), SIMS Claims, and Valen Analytics’ InsureRight Platform, as well as bureau content management and reporting services, in to support the entire policy lifecycle, according to a vendor statement.

Builders Mutual has more than 21,000 policyholders throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, offering a complete line of commercial insurance products to residential, commercial and trade contractors. The company chose Insurity for its modern architecture and their expertise in the Workers’ Comp industry, according to the vendor.
