Allstate Business Insurance (Northbrook, Ill.) has expanded its use of Insurity’s (Hartford) Policy Decisions and has adopted newly developed quoting application based on the vendor’s solution. The new functionality, which is currently in production, integrates advanced data and analytics along with third-party data, to pre-fill data elements and streamline the quoting process, according to the vendor.

Mike Barton, President, Allstate Business Insurance.

The new quoting capability allows business owners to quickly and conveniently get a quote and purchase a business owner’s policy (BOP) in less than five minutes, Insurity reports. The quoting tool can be accessed through Allstate.com/Business or the Small Business Connection from any device, at any time. The online platform also enhances policy servicing capabilities, so customers can access their policies at their convenience, and agents can focus on helping customers with their insurance needs.

Robust Solution on an Aggressive Schedule

“Together with Insurity, we were able to turn an abstract idea into a robust customer-driven solution within a very aggressive schedule,” comments Mike Barton, President, Allstate Business Insurance. “Our relationship with Insurity allowed us to address our agents’ and customers’ preferences through a simple and intuitive platform that provides access to our products and services in real time and on their schedule.”

Insurity’s Executive Chairman Jeff Glazer characterizes the quoting tool initiative as a highly collaborative effort. “We believe this innovative technology will change the way the industry views self-service quoting as a way to drive business and increase value for the customer,” Glazer comments.
